Born (1981) and raised in Pirgos Ilias.
She received the Diploma of Architectural Engineering from the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly and continued her studies on a post-professional level in USA (Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design, GSAPP, Columbia University, New York). She worked as a junior architect in an architectural firm based in New York. Upon returning to Greece, she has gained a vast experience on architectural projects (public and private, design, supervision and permit procedures) through her collaboration with architectural firms, construction companies and public and private institutions.
She holds her own architectural practice in Athens and Pirgos Ilias, focusing on the design, management and supervision of medium scale projects.
During 2010-2017, she has been a founding member of Syn-metric, an interdisciplinary collaboration of architects and engineers, through which she participated in the design and supervision of various projects of different scales.
She has always found herself particularly attracted to the architectural education. In this direction, she currently is a Module Leader & Senior Lecturer (Technical Studies coordinator and Year 2 Coordinator) at the BA (Hons) Architecture (RIBA part 1) program of Metropolitan College in Athens. Before that, she had been an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Museum Studies and the Department of Building Preservation and Renovation of TEI Patras (2007-2011).
Chrysi has been a founding member and Chapter Coordinator of Architecture for Humanity, Athens, Greece chapter (2010-2014), and a team member of Open Architecture Collaborative Athens (the team was active until 2018).
She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Greek Architects Association.
She has participated in various greek and international architecture competitions, as a student as well as a professional, and she has been a member in various committees about architecture in public and private sectors.
Her projects have been featured in Greek and International exhibitions and conferences (15th Venice Biennale of Architecture, Autonoma International Conference, 4TH Athens Biennale Agora).
